Hon Alderman John Woodhatch

The funeral service for Hon Alderman John Woodhatch is to be held on Friday, November 25 at 10.30am.

Alderman Woodhatch died at home, aged 84, on November 1, after a period of illness.

Holy Trinity Church, the usual venue for civic church services in Guildford, has been selected to allow larger numbers of attendees wishing to pay their respects to a popular former councillor.

It is understood that hon freemen, hon aldermen and councillors who attend will be robed as for a civic ceremony.
