With a commitment to supporting hundreds of families in the Guildford area, the charity says the funds will not only sustain current services but also pave the way for crucial expansion.

The event was a sell-out event that drew more than 400 guests and philanthropists, and unfolded as a night of entertainment, gastronomic delights, and, most importantly, fundraising.

The Home-Start Guildford Together Ball was a sell-out event.

There were more than 44 silent auction prizes, while Peter Gordon led spirited bidding for three prizes: a luxurious holiday house, an exhilarating flight on a Red Arrows jet, and a limited edition piece from Vanleles Jewellery, a brand loved by Home-Start supporter, The Princess of Wales.

Against a backdrop of performances by Django’s Jive, The Accidentals, and The Beat Freaks, attendees enjoyed a sumptuous three-course dinner before being moved by a touching account from Amy.

She shared how Home-Start volunteer Julie provided invaluable support during challenging times, emphasising Home-Start’s role as the critical bridge between social care and families navigating the complexities of early childhood.

The night concluded on a euphoric note with legendary DJ Danny Rampling.
