Safeguard Coaches has presented a cheque for £2,687.50 to members of the Guildford and Godalming branch of the British Heart Foundation (BHF).

Safeguard’s Andrew Halliday presents the cheque to BHF fundraisers at the coach firm’s depot in Ridgemount, Guildford
The money was raised at Safeguard’s hugely successful charity open day on Saturday, March 29. An equal amount will be going to the Guildford coach firm’s other chosen charity at the event, Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Safeguard’s managing director presented the cheque to BHF fundraisers Marjorie Tooley, Brian Smith, Joan Hornett Maureen Lemin, and chairman Shirley West, on Tuesday.
Shirley said: “On behalf of the Guildford and Godalming branch we would like to thank Safeguard Coaches for their amazing donation towards the BHF.
“Andrew and his staff have been so and kind and generous towards us and we thank them from the bottom of our hearts.”
