Mr Rigg is right to say we need a new plan, not cosmetic tweaks. So why did he do nothing about it during the four years that he was the brains of the R4GV-led council?

Residents have been screaming for ten years about the imbalance of pushing excessive development onto the villages while letting the town decay: just look at The Dragon archives!

Unfortunately, his blindness to anything but promoting his town-centre masterplan has left the hated Tory Local Plan of 2019 completely intact.
