In response to: Planning Appeals Refusal Marks Victory in Fight to Save Hog’s Back
It was good to see how cross-party co-operation ward councillor Tony Rooth (R4GV, Pilgrims) and me, supported by neighbouring councillors David Bilbe (Con, Normandy) and Paul Spooner (Con, Ash South & Tongham), who were involved in the original Article 4 protection, together with determination by the GBC managing director James Whiteman and other council officers.
The co-operative approach has resulted in actions that will hopefully see the beautiful, expansive and open slopes of the Hog’s Back restored.

I would like to thank Ramsey Nagaty, I guess the council leader [Joss Bigmore] inadvertently forgot other party councillors in his leader comments at last week’s Executive Committee meeting.
There must be an election coming.

Pretty rich from Cllr Spooner, who was so keen to include Blackwell Farm in his odious Local Plan.
Why the contradictory views?
Perhaps there is indeed an election imminent?
