GU Art just opened in Swan Lane

In response to: Landlords And Charities Gain As Empty Shop Is Occupied

Visited “GU Art” today, a breath of fresh art in Swan Lane. It was brilliant to meet enthusiastic artists and discuss their quality work.

Very encouraging to see red dots, (signifying “sold”) on photography and hear that some of the artists have received commissions from works on display.

An excellent use of another otherwise empty shop. Collaboration and creative thinking are just what’s needed in Guildford to replace failing high street chains with local diverse character independents.

Well done to all involved. More like this please.
