In response to: Guildford Mourns Gordon Bridger, the Former Mayor Who Loved His Town

I echo the editor’s comment that Gordon will be deeply missed.

Since he retired I believe he had only two interests, his family and Guildford.

He was not really a party political man but he acted consistently in what he passionately believed to be Guildford’s best interests. He pursued these energetically until the end of his life. He was an example to all of us.
