From Chelsea Bigrave

My name is Chelsea, and I’m a parent of two young girls who play at Guildford Saints Football Club.

I’m writing to you with the exciting news that Guildford Saint’s U15s girls have been invited to attend the Gothia World Youth Cup in Sweden this July.

This is the first ever Guildford, Surrey girls’ team to be invited to participate.

This is a superb opportunity for the U15 girls to participate in the world’s largest and most international youth soccer tournament, and they are an incredibly talented squad.

U15s girls team at Guildford Saints FC have been invited to the Gothis World Youth Cup in Sweden.

However, we need your support…

At Guildford Saints we focus on providing players with the best training and Sunday league football for children aged between six and 17 years.

The club is run by a small group of volunteer parents who form the management committee. Income for the club is derived from various sources, the majority coming from membership fees, and the remainder from social events, sponsored competitions, kit sales, and sponsorship. Sponsorship is used for purchasing team kits.

I’m asking readers if there is any way you can support getting Guildford Saints girls towards hitting their goal, to get out to Sweden to compete alongside 80 nations. Not only will the girls be representing England, but they will be representing their grassroots team in Guildford.

We have already set up a Go fund page for the girls and we have received some incredible donations of support. The girls have incredibly supportive supporters who attend every week to cheer them on.

We would like to raise as much money as possible to ensure that each team member can attend. All proceeds support the girls so no one is left behind.

We believe every girl should have the opportunity to attend this amazing opportunity. We would really like to do all we can to make that happen.

Please join us in any support you can offer, even if it’s shared with your network, and or included in your newsletter would mean the world to the girls.

So far we have raised £5,836, but any more towards the goal would be incredible. See link above for the Go Fund page for your reference.

If you can’t donate, please do support us and share our page with the community, friends, family, and co-workers. With more people aware, and supporting us in the community, it really supports the team in getting one step closer to their goal.

The team would like to thank you in advance for any donation you can contribute.
