In response to: Stagecoach and Arriva’s Guildford ‘Bus War’ Leaves Safeguard Feeling The Pinch

Why does the Guildford Bus station regard itself as being solely for Arriva buses? If you ask for information, they give priority to Arriva buses – even for the RSCH – and only reluctantly mention that there are other services.

The Safeguard drivers are so thoughtful and helpful, especially if one has any difficulty with mobility, and they wait till an older person is seated before pulling away.

I was delighted to find that they also offer a reduced rate for people with bus passes if they are travelling before 9.30.

I go out of my way to use Safeguard’s services and those of Stagecoach.
