In response to: Opinion: It is Time to Remove National Parties from Local Politics

I feel sorry for people who have posted their vote already, not realising that the present council were rushing through the Local Plan last week.

Those who watched the webcast, or were there, I’m sure have strong opinions on what they want for our future in the borough of Guildford.

Talking to friends only tonight (April 29), not everyone is aware what is going on in the borough. Often people don’t realise until it is too late.

It’s not their fault really because they think the people they have elected will be doing the best for them as they live here and know the issues we all face. Sadly I don’t see that being done for the residents of Guildford. I hope that all changes after 2nd May. Councillors start working for what your residents want.
