Lions’ Fireworks Fiesta Raises £30,000 for Good Causes

Guildford Lions logoGuildford Lions Club is delighted to confirm it made a profit of £30,000 from this year’s Fireworks Fiesta.

An immediate donation of £7,500 has been made to Oakleaf Enterprise to help it continue its support for local people with mental health issues.

The remaining £22,500 will be used to assist local people in need throughout the coming year.

Guildford Lions Club’s 2024 Fireworks Fiesta was a spectacular success raising £30,000 for good causes in the Guildford area.

The Lions say: “We would like to thank the thousands of people who came along to support our event and acknowledge the support of our brilliant sponsors without whom we would not able to stage this wonderful community event which allows us to continue our work to help people in need.

“Our sponsors were: RADical Systems Ltd, Martin Grant Homes, Guildford Borough Council, St Edward Homes Ltd, Charles Stanley & Co Ltd.”
