Scores of floral tributes have been neatly laid out under the railway bridge by the Wooden Bridge pub in memory of “George” following reports of a fatality at that location.

Included was a photograph of a young man on a jet ski with a poignant message on an attached card “The bond between a mother and son lasts a lifetime.”
