The Church of the Holy Spirit in Burpham celebrates its first 50 years in November.

The Church of the Holy Spirit in Burpham is appealing for help in obtaining memories and memorabilia relating to the first 50 years of the church’s history since it was built in New Inn Lane in 1965.

As part of the celebrations, to be held on November 13, the church is planning an exhibition of its history and plans for the future.

A church spokesperson said: “We seek help from anyone who has memories from these first 50 years, who has any memorabilia, photos or documents, etc, say of family celebrations such as weddings and baptisms, or of church events or any other information.

Anyone who can help in any way is asked to contact the parish office on 01483 825533 or visit the website, www.burphamchurch.org.uk.

The Church of the Holy Spirit is one of two Anglican churches in Burpham. It’s sister church is St Luke’s, in Burpham Lane.
