Officers from Surrey Police are hunting a convicted burglar who is suspected of absconding from a bail hostel in Guildford.
It is reported that Jamie Bolton, 31, breached the conditions of his prison-release licence when he failed to return to the hostel on Thursday last week. He was released from prison on October 31 on condition he stayed at the hostel.
He had been serving a four-and-a-half-year sentence for burglaries and robberies in the Woking and Godalming areas.
Det Supt Jon Savell, of Surrey Police, said: “By not returning to the bail hostel for several days, Bolton has breached the conditions of his licence and is now wanted on recall to prison.”
Mr Bolton was wearing a black hooded top with a picture on the front and blue jeans, and was carrying a bright yellow jacket when he absconded.
