New Coach Service to Heathrow Launched

The First Group announced the start of a new rail to air service linking Guildford Rail Station and Heathrow Airport from Monday, July 1 2019.

The service, called RailAir 2, will connect Guildford Rail Station with Heathrow Airport Terminal 5 and Heathrow Central Bus Station every hour from early until late, seven days a week.

Until now passengers had to travel to Woking to make use of a similar service there.

Single fares from Guildford start at £9 and returns from £16.20 for the 25 mile journey, taking one hour and 15 minutes, to Heathrow. This is comparable to train fares which are around £10 for a single, for the same journey.
