Notice: Calling Guildford Hair And Beauty Salons To ‘Work Towards 100% Sustainability’

Hair salon owner Julia Lampard is calling all hair and beauty salons in Guildford to a free meeting on Tuesday, February 1 at 6pm to be inspired to go 100% sustainable “in a beautiful green way”.

Fry Taylor of the Green Salon Collective, who has appeared on TV’s The One Show, will speak at the meeting in the new Zero Carbon Guildford shop at the bottom of North Street (14 to16 Friary Street, GU1 4EH).

Julia said: “We want Guildford to go green. We would love all those involved in hair and beauty in Guildford to be a part of this.

“I have been working towards sustainability for 13 years and I know how hard it is. It’s taken a lot of time and effort, but I am getting there. Green Salon Collective are helping me work towards being 100% landfill free.

“To learn more and be inspired by Fry Taylor, why not join us and let Guildford be the world’s leading example of a community spirit with a high volume of local hair and beauty salons working together sustainably.
