Join in the fun and ‘have a go’ at GoFest 2017.

Families can take their pick from an extensive schedule of activities, featuring more than 500 quality coaching sessions, delivered by 35 different sports, dance and fitness providers. Take a look at just how much is on offer via the newly released 2017 GoFest South Timetable.

From archery to zumba, GoFest represents the A to Z of physical activities. The schedule includes age-specific sessions, as well as all age sessions so that families can take part together. It’s also for mixed abilities and can cater for the complete beginner.

The essence of GoFest is to provide everyone the opportunity to “have a go” at activities they may have only ever seen on television or, possibly, have never even heard of, such as futsal, VX International and fusion fitness.

It’s all ages in the GoRun zone at GoFest 2017.

For the more competitively minded, GoFest is holding netball and football tournaments for clubs or groups to enter.

The GoRun zone will feature runs, relays and obstacle courses, as well as one-mile family fun runs, and, for the first time this year, an aquathlon will be run by Phoenix Triathlon club.

GoFest advises pre-booking your favourite sessions in advance of the event to ensure you make the most of the weekend. Ticket holders can pre-book up to four sessions per person and eight sessions for early bird ticket holders.

Planning your days together with friends and family members can be a lot of fun, deciding who will do what and with whom on the day. In addition, festival goers will also be able to book plenty more activities on the day.

Chelsea football, Surrey Storm netball, Surrey Scorchers basketball, English Lacrosse, Blue Chip Paddle Boarding, Cranleigh Swim Tots, SCL and Fit for Sport are just a few from the line up of family friendly coaching experts, partnering with this unique and incredibly popular family festival.

GoFest aims to increase sports and dance participation by offering ticket holders as many 30- to 45-minute sessions as they can pack in, with the expectation that they will find new sports and activities to enjoy and take part in long after the GoFest weekend is over. This incredibly fun-filled weekend caters for people aged four to 84 and is designed for families to get active together.

GoFest’s CEO Paul Farris said: “It’s an exciting time having just released our full schedule of activities for GoFest South.

“I’m pretty sure people who are new to GoFest will be pleasantly surprised, and very excited,  at just how much there is to ‘have a go’ at.

After two very successful years and some incredible feedback, we are delighted to be back at Surrey Sports Park in Guildford again over the bank Holiday weekend.

“We are working with a huge number of brilliant partners to unite families through activity and encourage all ages to become more active by offering so much choice in one location over one fun-fuelled weekend.”
