The Guildford U3A combined choirs, with conductor John Varney, will present their annual Christmas concert on Wednesday, December 12, at 2pm in St Nicolas Church, Guildford, GU2 4AW.

They will be joined by the U3A Belleplates group and U3A Instrumental Ensemble. There will be seasonal music, both new and well known, and readings.

Everyone is welcome to listen and join in some familiar Christmas carols.

Free entry with a retiring collection for Marie Curie.

The programme will include the carol The Glow of Christmas written by local composers Dorothy and Heather Kirkman, and the premiere of a carol written specially for the choir by Simon Mold, A Galley will I Build Me.

Both Dorothy Kirkman and Simon Mould will be attending the concert.
