What’s the point of Guildford being twinned with a German city?
If you’ve ever wanted to know about Guildford’s town twinning with Freiburg in south west Germany (why? how? what’s it like? what’s the point?) now’s your chance.

Readers might be interested to know that although the related Guildford-Freiburg churches link seems moribund due to lack of folk in Freiburg to keep it going following a recent death, I will be in Freiburg 31 August – 3 September meeting up with my own church contacts from past church visits for a trip into the Black Forest and an evening meal together on 1 September.
I would encourage others who have enjoyed past Freiburger hospitality on church trips pre-covid to join GTA and its own trip to Freiburg next year.
