Throughout the weekend there will be a programme of free festive activities inspired by Victorian arts and crafts, including pomander and wreath making and a chance to create your own marbled wrapping paper and linocut gift tags.
There will be horse drawn carriage rides, a 12 Days of Christmas Trail, carols in Watts Chapel, storytelling with Father Christmas at Limnerslease, home of G F Watts and his wife Mary – and more.
Seasonal treats will be on sale from homemade mince pies and roasted chestnuts to Victorian sugar plums. The Watts Gallery Shop will be open for original gifts and stocking fillers for all the family.
All activities will be free with admission (with a suggested donation) and two for one admission will be available throughout the Christmas Fair weekend, with children 16 and under benefitting from free admission.
