Official Opening Of Furniturelink’s New Showroom In Merrow

Furniturelink’s new showroom in Merrow has been officially opened.

Trustee, Cllr Angela Gunning, cut the ribbon to declare the site open at the Merrow Business Park on Wednesday, June 8.

The event was attended by representatives of local charities in the Guildford area.

Previously located on the Cathedral Hill Hill Business Park, Furniturelink now has a 3,000 sq ft warehouse showroom packed full of furniture, white goods, electrical items, bric-a-brac, bikes and even donated quality paint at very low prices.

It is a charity that is completely self-funding. With a turnover of about £170,000 last year and increasing, the charity has three staff and 18 volunteers.

Now located at Unit 2b, Merrow Business Park, Merrow GU4 7WA, it is open from 9am to 4pm, Monday to Saturday.
