They performed medleys and renditions of songs from musicals, films, TV shows, and also artists.

Stagecoach reports that family and friends were able to enjoy a plethora of performances by students from a range of its schools across England.

It adds that its students have been able to grace the stage at the Shaftesbury Theatre with a multitude of amazing performances over the past two years. And the showcases build on the students’ creativity and courage – “skills that will stay with them for the rest of their lives”.

Stagecoach Guildford North’s principal Trixie Lubrano Lobianco said: “It was such an amazing experience to take 20 of our students to perform on a West End stage.

“They were so professional and hard-working all day. And the teaching team and I are so proud of what they managed to create in just 12 hours of rehearsals We can’t wait to do it again in the future.”

With a network of more than 55,000 students and more than 3,000 extra-curricular performing arts schools worldwide, Stagecoach says its aims are to make a difference in its students’ lives by teaching what it calls Creative Courage for Life.

It adds that many children have gone on to study and work in performing arts from blockbuster films to countless roles in local theatre productions.

Early stages classes are available for children aged four to six and main stages classes take place for six- to 18-year-olds every weekend during term time.
