Police Ask : Did You See Assault in Farncombe?

Surrey Police officers are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted in Farncombe.

The incident happened in Summers Road, Farncombe at around 10.45pm on Friday (June 26) when the man, in his early 20s, was approached by a group of teenage boys and assaulted. He sustained a broken nose and a fractured eye socket.

Investigating officer DC Mike Taylor said: “This was a nasty incident which left the victim understandably shaken by what had happened.

“We are currently investigating the circumstances around the attack and believe that there were a number of witnesses nearby.

“If you were one of those people I would urge you to come forward and tell us what you saw as any information could prove vital to our investigation.”
