Sammy Rat’s Spring Sessions Concert

The Guildford Dragon’s David Rose joins his band members in Sammy Rat and the Resonators for a special concert at All Saints’ Church, Witley, this Saturday, April 21.

The concert is a fund raiser for the church and the band will be playing their distinctive style of acoustic blues, country, gospel and roots music, with the emphasis on songs for springtime and the summer ahead.

Lead vocalist and guitarist David Rose said: “We did our Winter Sessions concert at the church in 2010 and really enjoyed playing there. It’s a very old church and a wonderful building to play in – it seems to suit our music with our strong vocal harmonies.

“Like the previous time we played there, we hope to have some guests along to play and sing as well.”
