Tug of war contests, plate smashing, live music, dancing, a traditonal coconut shy and others games were all part of the annual Stoke Community Fun Day on Saturday, July 9.
Up to 300 people of all ages flocked to the green at Bellfields for the afternoon event.
There were also stands from Weyfield Primary Academy, the Joining In! project, and others, a display of local history, as well as inflatables, soft archery and face painting.
The fun day was organised by St Peter’s Church and local community groups. The organisers thank the following for their support who helped to make the event a success: Tesco, Seymours Estate Agents, Hazel Stores, Monks (funeral directors), Joining In! and Clare Charrett.
Local photographer David Beamish took these photos.
