Three Charged with the Murder of 10-year-old Girl Plead Not Guilty

Three people charged with the murder of 10-year-old Sara Sharif pleaded not guilty when they appeared at The Central Criminal Court in London today (December 14).

Sara’s body was found at her home address in Horsell, near Woking, on August 10.

Sara’s father, Urfan Sharif, 41, his partner Beinash Batool, 29, and Urfan’s brother Faisal Malik, 28, also pleaded not guilty to causing or allowing the death of a child.

All three appeared by video link and have been remanded in custody until the trial, which has been scheduled for six weeks to start on September 2, 2024.
