Surrey Police are appealing for witnesses after tools were stolen during a robbery of a van driver near West Horsley on December 11.
The victim’s van was blocked in by two other vans before the suspects threatened the victim with a hammer and stole tools. The incident happened between 10:50am and 11:10am on Ripley Lane.
The suspects included five white men, three of whom were in a white Ford Transit van, with one man described as wearing a cap and the other two with their hoods up. They all fled in the direction of Ockham and the A3.
A police spokesperson said: “Tool thefts ruin the livelihoods of tradespeople, and we are encouraging anyone who may have witnessed something suspicious in the area to report it to Surrey Police.
