Behind every great event is a great team of volunteers! The organisers of the event, that is taking place in Woking, say: “Join our Team Surrey Half for a fantastic experience as part of the team behind the biggest closed-road half marathon in Surrey.

“As part of Team Surrey Half volunteers will get a free entry for yourself or a friend in 2016, a Surrey Half freebie, lunch, extensive briefing and support on race day, and a great day out!”

Race director Toby Jenkins, added: “We couldn’t have delivered our 2014 event without the support of our cheery volunteer team. Joining Team Surrey Half and volunteering at the Surrey Half is a great way to experience the event. We hope you’ll be part of the 2015 team. Our thanks to Guildford Volunteer Centre for all their support.”
