The incident involved a red Ford Fiesta which overturned and collided with several trees on the B382 Old Woking Road at about 12.05am.

Paramedics treated the driver, a man in his 20s, at the scene but sadly he was pronounced dead at 12.50am.

Police officers have informed his next of kin.
