69-Year-Old Pedestrian Dies After Collision

A 69-year-old woman died after she was hit by a vehicle in Charlotteville on Friday (November 25).

Police officers were called at around just before 11am following reports of a collision involving a pedestrian and a grey 208 Peugeot. A 69-year-old woman was taken to hospital but died later that day. Her next of kin were informed.

A spokesperson for Surrey Police said: “We are appealing for the public’s help following a fatal collision on the junction of Jenner Road and Harvey Road in Guildford.

“The driver of the Peugeot has been fully cooperative with officers and has not been arrested.

“We are now appealing for witnesses to the collision who may have further information or dashcam or helmet cam footage to get in touch.
