Did You See Hit and Run in Compton?

police accident sign 2Guildford police are appealing for anyone who witnessed a hit and run collision in the Compton area in which a pedestrian was injured to contact them.

Officers want to hear from anyone who may have seen the incident on the B3000 New Pond Road on Sunday, September 27 at around 4.24am.

A car, believed to be a black BMW 3 series, was in collision with a man who was walking along the road due to there being no pavement present.

The victim was taken to the Royal Surrey County Hospital with leg injuries.

Anyone who has any information which could help locate the suspect is asked to contact Surrey Police on 101 quoting reference P15251297. Alternatively the independent charity Crimestoppers can be called anonymously on 0800 555 111.
