Guildford Parkrun Results Saturday, August 24

This time there were 140 runners, of whom 28 were first timers and 28 recorded new personal bests. Representatives of 11 different athletics clubs took part.

Men’s placings:
Daniel HULL (SM30-34) of Guildford & Godalming AC, was first over the line in 17:42 – second time in three appearances.
Adam STIRK (SM25-29) of Guildford & Godalming AC, was second over the line in 17:43 – was first to finish once before.
Clayton PAYNE (SM30-34) of Tortoise & Hare, was third over the line in 18:47 – has been first to finish on two previous occasions.

Current standing in the men’s annual points competition:
Daniel Peter HEFFERNAN (Unattached) 1,752 pts.
Andrew FLANAGAN (Unattached) 1,644 pts.
David WOODCOCK (Unattached) 1,426 pts.
Women’s placings:
Tamara DUTT (SW20-24) of Farnham Runners, was first (13th overall) over the line in 20:00 – first appearance.
Cecilia SIRUFFO (SW30-34) of Guildford & Godalming AC, was second (14th overall) over the line in 20:16 – has been first to finish on two previous occasions.
Stacy FAIRHEAD (SW25-29) (Unattached) was third (17th overall) over the line in 20:31.

Susanne BARNES (Woking AC) 1,929 pts.
Julia BONILLA (Unattached) 1,735 pts.
Susanna HARRISON (Woking AC) 1,470 pts.

The following runners recorded the best age grade scores:
Susanna HARRISON (VW50-54) was graded 78.29% for the time 21:25 (23rd overall).
Daniel HULL (SM30-34) was graded 74.11% for the time 17:42 (first overall).
Tamara DUTT (SW20-24) was graded 74.00% for the time 20:00 (13th overall).

Guildford parkrun started on March 10, 2012, and since then 2,111 different runners, including participants from 152 athletics clubs, have completed 8,012 runs covering a total distance of 40,060 km, and there have been 1,781 new personal bests.

The Women’s course record is held by Katherine PHILP who ran in a time of 18:46 on May 18, 2013 (event number 60).
The Men’s course record is held by Tom ALDRED who ran in a time of 15:30 on April 7, 2012 (event number 5).
The age grade course record is held by Jane DAVIES who recorded a 90.41% run (22:25) on April 27, 2013 (event number 57).
