In the first event of the new year there were 107 runners, of whom 17 were first timers and two recorded new personal bests. Representatives of 14 different athletics clubs took part.

Men’s placings:
Christopher PECK (SM30-34) (unattached) was first over the line in 19:56 – first time in six appearances.
Robert HARDY (SM30-34) (unattached) was second over the line in 20:23 – was first to finish once before.
Oliver WOOLCOTT (JM15-19) of British Military Fitness, was third over the line in 20:29.

Current standing in the men’s annual points competition:
Daniel Peter HEFFERNAN (unattached) 3,473 pts.
David WOODCOCK (unattached) 2,842 pts.
Andrew FLANAGAN (unattached) 2,574 pts.

Women’s placings:
Kirsty BRANCH (JW15-19) (unattached) was first (20th overall) over the line in 24:39 – first time in eight appearances.
Hazel JOBSON (VW35-39) (unattached) was second (21st overall) over the line in 24:43.
Emma HAWKINS (VW40-44) (unattached) was third (25th overall) over the line in 25:13.

Current standing in the women’s annual points competition:
Susanne BARNES (Woking AC) 3,714 pts.
Julia BONILLA (unattached) 3,154 pts.
Susanna HARRISON (Woking AC) 2,820 pts.

The following runners recorded the best age grade scores:
Adrian BROOKES (VM50-54) was graded 68.50% for the time 21:32 (8th overall).
Anthony ALDRED (VM65-69) was graded 67.60% for the time 25:03 (23rd overall).
Christopher PECK (SM30-34) was graded 65.22% for the time 19:56 (first overall).

Guildford Parkrun started on March 10, 2012, and since then 2,654 different runners, including participants from 183 athletics clubs, have completed 11,659 runs covering a total distance of 58,295 km, and there have been 2,478 new Personal Bests.

The women’s record is held by Katherine PHILP who ran in a time of 00:18:46 (event number 60).
The men’s record is held by Tom ALDRED who ran in a time of 00:15:30 (event number 5).
The Age Grade course record is held by Jane DAVIES who recorded a 90.41% run (22:25) (event number 57).
