This week there were 211 runners, of whom 19 were first timers and 49 recorded new personal bests. Representatives of 22 different athletics clubs took part.
Men’s placings:
Ash OULD-DADA (JM15-19) of Woking AC, was first over the line in 17:47 – first time in 18 appearances.
Ben EVANS (SM30-34) of Guildford & Godalming AC, was second over the line in 18:01 – has been first to finish on seven previous occasions.
Christian BEALE (JM15-19) of Woking AC, was third over the line in 18:39.
Current standing in the men’s annual points competition:
Daniel Peter HEFFERNAN (unattached) 2,896 pts.
David WOODCOCK (unattached) 2,423 pts.
Andrew FLANAGAN (unattached) 2,398 pts.
Women’s placings:
Cecilia SIRUFFO (SW30-34) of Guildford & Godalming AC, was first (12th overall) over the line in 20:08 – sixth time in 24 appearances.
Eleanor HARRISON (JW15-19) of Guildford & Godalming AC, was second (14th overall) over the line in 20:20 – has been first to finish on 16 previous occasions.
Jaydee PETERS (VW35-39) of Woking AC, was third (24th overall) over the line in 21:17.
Current standing in the women’s annual points competition:
Susanne BARNES (Woking AC) 3,167 pts.
Julia BONILLA (unattached) 2,646 pts.
Cecilia SIRUFFO (Guildford & Godalming AC) 2,465 pts.
The following runners recorded the best age grade scores:
Susanna HARRISON (VW50-54) was graded 77.68% for the time 21:35 (30th overall).
Ash OULD-DADA (JM15-19) was graded 75.91% for the time 17:47 (first overall).
Eleanor HARRISON (JW15-19) was graded 74.34% for the time 20:20 (14th overall).
Guildford parkrun started on March 10, 2012, and since then 2,535 different runners, including participants from 170 athletics clubs, have completed 10,789 runs covering a total distance of 53,945 km, and there have been 2,398 new personal bests.
The women’s record is held by Katherine PHILP who ran in a time of 00:18:46 on May 18, 2013 (event number 60).
The men’s record is held by Tom ALDRED who ran in a time of 00:15:30 on April 7, 2012 (event number 5).
The Age Grade course record is held by Jane DAVIES who recorded a 90.41% run (22:25) on April 27, 2013 (event number 57).
