Another new attendance record this Saturday, with 256 runners taking part. Both the first male and the first female finishers were first timers.

Men’s placings:
Daniel SULLIVAN (SM25-29) (unattached) was first over the line in 17:44 – first appearance.
Chris FINILL (VM50-54) of Harrow AC, was second over the line in 18:25.
Richard CHAMPNESS (SM35-39) (unattached) was third over the line in 18:52.

Current standing in the men’s annual points competition:
Daniel Peter HEFFERNAN (unattached) 2,033 pts.
Andrew FLANAGAN (unattached) 1,925 pts.
David WOODCOCK (unattached) 1,804 pts.

Women’s placings:
Pippa MONK (JW15-19) of Guildford & Godalming AC, was first (fourth overall) over the line in 19:01 – first appearance.
Eleanor HARRISON (JW15-19) of Guildford & Godalming AC, was second (13th overall) over the line in 20:03 – has been first to finish on 13 previous occasions.
Cecilia SIRUFFO (SW30-34) of Guildford & Godalming AC, was third (14th overall) over the line in 20:06 – has been first to finish on four previous occasions.

Current standing in the women’s annual points competition:
Susanne BARNES (Woking AC) 2,382 pts.
Julia BONILLA (Unattached) 2,080 pts.
Susanna HARRISON (Woking AC) 1,862 pts.

The following runners recorded the best age grade scores:
Chris FINILL (VM50-54) was graded 82.71% for the time 18:25 (second overall).
Pippa MONK (JW15-19) was graded 81.51% for the time 19:01 (fourth overall).
Susanna HARRISON (VW50-54) was graded 78.17% for the time 21:27 (29th overall).

This week there were 256 runners, of whom 56 were first timers and 58 recorded new personal bests. Representatives of 27 different athletics clubs took part.

Guildford Parkrun started on March 10, 2012, and since then 2,324 different runners, including participants from 160 athletics clubs, have completed 9,200 runs covering a total distance of 46,000 km, and there have been 2,054 new personal bests.

The women’s course record is held by Katherine PHILP who ran in a time of 18:46 on May 18, 2013 (event number 60).

The men’s course record is held by Tom ALDRED who ran in a time of 15:30 on April 7, 2012 (event number 5).

The age grade course record is held by Jane DAVIES who recorded a 90.41% run (22:25) on April 27, 2013
(event number 57).
