Join the halow project’s young people outside Waitrose in Guildford as they attempt to cycle 250 miles.

From Friday to Sunday, May 3 to 5, they will be attempting to mirror the long-standing halow250 fundraising bike ride, which covers 250 miles from London to France in just 48 hours, led by the charity’s patron Damon Hill OBE.

Some of the halow young people who took part in last year’s challenge.

The super static bike ride will take place outside the main entrance of the Guildford Waitrose store with two exercise bikes. halow young people will be rotating throughout the weekend and giving it everything they have got.

The event is led by halow’s Building Futures Group, who are currently in training for their upcoming cycling challenge and they hope to reach their goal to raise £1,500.

You can help them reach their fundraising total by donating to their Justgiving Page.

All money raised will support young people with a learning disability by providing a range of services to enable independence including social activities, a one-to-one buddy service and supported living.

The halow project thanks the continued support of Waitrose’s Guildford store, who, without its partnership, the event could not take place.
