Owners of Biddles of Guildford (see also Crowdfund race against time to save long running Biddles stationery shop and Biddles opens again but still needs crowdfunding help)

We write to thank The Guildford Dragon NEWS for your support at our time of greatest need. The store had closed and we were unsure if we would ever be able to open the shop again.

Without your help, we don’t believe we would ever have been able to reach so many people and the success of the crowdfunder is proof of that with the first weekend after the article seeing the biggest increases in funding and support.

Biddles of Guildford would also like to thank the people of Guildford for their support and helping us re-open the 135 -year-old business once more. Although we are still not 100% safe, we are now 95% there and the goodwill of the town and the financial support through crowdfunding has truly overwhelmed us.

We are now more determined than ever for Biddles of Guildford to remain a part of Guildford’s landscape for years to come.

The Crowdfunder has been extended and we are working through the vouchers that have been purchased already and will make them available in the very near future.

Thank you Guildford Dragon and thank you Guildford. Once again you have shown us all what can be achieved when we all support each other.

Keep up the great work.

Kind regards,

David and Neal
