In response to: What Are the Political Parties Doing About the Stoney Castle Dump?

The Environment Agency, Surrey County Council and Guildford Borough Council along with other stakeholders are taking a multi-agency approach to the situation, and have been ever since the issue first arose.

We are following routes that will aim to resolve the events at the site as soon as practically possible. For legal reasons, I cannot say much more at present. I understand that the lack of information can be frustrating for residents but, for the sake of obtaining the best outcome, this is the only response I can give right now.

For the time being, I ask for residents and interested parties to avoid the site at the moment while the issues are ongoing and report any evidence they note to enforcement@guildford.gov.uk.
