In response to: Where Are the Candidates?

In Merrow, we’ve had several leaflets from all the parties including the resurfaced independent candidate.

Interestingly, the Lib Dems’ material concentrates on one of their candidates with only a passing mention of the other. I hope we won’t see a repeat of 2015 when paper candidates were returned in some wards with little commitment to their public roles.

The Dragon’s candidate summaries are helpful reading. We can perhaps infer an indicator of commitment to the task of being a councillor from a failure to provide The Dragon with a simple campaigning message.
