Young Guildford cricketers are champion.

The Surrey Trust Development League (U-18) final took place on Sunday (9 Sep) at Normandy Cricket Club between Guildford CC and Ashtead CC.

Batting first, Ashtead were soon in trouble and with accurate bowling Guildford took wickets regularly, bowling the opposition out for 88 in 27.3 overs (out of 50).

This below par score did not present a problem for the Guildford batsmen who scored 90 in 27 overs for the loss of just three wickets. A relatively easy win.
