Car Crashes Into Restaurant In Guildford High Street

January 31 Today (Friday) the restaurant gave this update on social media: “Thanks for all the support. Builders are now fixing up the shop front so that we can be back open from tomorrow with our usual hours.”

January 30 A car collided with the front of Dolce and Salato Restaurant in Guildford High Street yesterday afternoon (January 30).

Police say they were called to the restaurant just before 3pm after receiving reports of the collision.

A spokesperson said: “Officers attended along with Surrey Fire and Rescue, and found that the driver of the car had collided with the front of Dolce and Salato Restaurant. The driver didn’t require medical treatment.”
