Aspects of Benedictine monastic life at St Augustine’s Abbey, Chilworth, near Guildford, will feature in a BBC series this December (2021).

The three-part series on BBC One, called ‘Heaven Made’, shines a light on communities of monks and nuns across the country, who will share the craftsmanship and skills used to create handmade products.

The first episode will be aired on Sunday, December 5 at 11.30am, which will then be available on BBC iPlayer.

Further episodes will follow on Sundays December 12 and 19 December.
