Death in Ferry Lane ‘Not Thought to Be Suspicious’

A woman was found dead in Ferry Lane, St Catherine’s this morning.

In a statement, Surrey Police said: “At 6.10am this morning (May 12) we were called to Ferry Lane, Guildford after a member of the public reported that they had found a deceased woman.

“The woman, in her 20s, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene and her next of kin are aware.

“Enquiries to establish what happened are underway, but her death is not thought to be suspicious so we would like to reassure the public that there is no risk to them.”
