Guildford Access Group Wants Your Nominations for Annual Awards

Your nominations are need for this year’s Mayor’s Award for Access, given to those who make a positive contribution to the lives of disabled people in the borough of Guildford.

Organised by the Guildford Access Group, nominations are needed before the closing date of Tuesday, July 31.

The Mayor of Guildford, Jennifer Jordan, said: “The awards recognise the real difference local groups can make to disabled people. Please help by letting us know the people, places and projects that have gone the extra mile to enable access for all.”

Previous winners include Clandon Garden Centre café – for excellence in customer service, Guildford Rowing Club – for making sport accessible, Holy Trinity Church – for installing a ramp, and the Normandy Therapy Garden – providing gardening opportunities for young people s with learning difficulties.
