In response to: Guildford and Woking MPs Hear Local Business Concerns Over Brexit
The Brexit meeting organised by Guildford & Woking in Europe was an excellent evening, with the organisers being scrupulously fair and restrained towards MPs Anne Milton (Guildford) and Jonathan Lord (Woking).

One of the “far less constrained” attendees of the meeting challenging MPs to support a free vote in Parliament on Brexit. The man on the right pointing at Jonathan Lord MP (left) is believed to be Clive Watson, a pub and restaurant chain entrepreneur.
The five or six local business leaders who spoke were far less constrained and made it perfectly clear to the MPs that if Brexit happens, it will be an unmitigated disaster for their businesses and for the wider economy beyond.
I hope that got through to them, and they act on what they heard.

And then there were seven. (See article: "Lib Dems Remain Puzzled By Leader’s Decision to Sack Executive Member")

It’s all very well to claim that the organisers were “scrupulously fair and restrained” towards the MPs; so they should be. But they must have invited the other attendees and so bear responsibility for their “far less constrained” behaviour.
I sincerely hope that MPs do not act on what they hear otherwise the country might be governed by those who obey the last person to shout at them.
