Letter: Is the Cost of a Waste Collection Leaflet Really Too Much?

In response to: Changes to Borough Council’s Christmas Waste Collection Service

One leaflet posted to us once a year is very convenient for residents to have a 52-week reminder of what refuse and recycling to put out each week and what is acceptable in recycling.

I can’t imagine it is a hugely exorbitant cost compared with the costs of us getting it wrong.

At the very least, GBC should have notified all residents directly that it is now incumbent upon us to find our way to the relevant info on their website or useful sites like The Guildford Dragon NEWS.

I was wondering when I would get this year’s Christmas collection info, so thank you very much to our trusty Dragon!
