I’m an outreach care worker helping vulnerable adults in and around Guildford.
I have worked non-stop throughout the lockdowns visiting and supporting people in their homes until I tested positive for Covid last month.
During my period of self-isolating and illness, thieves jacked up my car and hacksawed off the catalytic converter which will now result in having to replace the entire exhaust system.
I’m also an OAP and I’ve come through Covid-19 to face a repair bill of around £700.
Aren’t people lovely?

This has been happening at various car parks near walking areas, in the drives of people living in East Horsley and at Wisley garden. The only way to stop these thieves is to reverse close to a fence, hedge or outbuilding as they then cannot get behind your car to remove the unit.
