Sam Surridge the motor cyclist who died in a collision on the A3 on Tuesday, April 14.

The man who died in a fatal collision which took place on the A3 at around on Thursday, 14 April has been formally identified as 20-year-old Sam Surridge of Farnham.

His family, in tribute, said: “Sam was caring, compassionate and was funny, the life and soul of wherever he went and always had a smile on his face.

“He was ‘bike mad’, loved everything about bikes and was studying motorcycle mechanics at college.

“Sam was close to his sisters and his family and had a tight-knit group of friends that he used to go jamming with – he loved his music [and] was a larger than life character and lived life to the full.”

Surrey Police has appealed for any witnesses to come forward.
