Onslow Village Hall was a riot of colour on Saturday with beautiful floral displays, horticultural produce and handicrafts.

The annual show of the Onslow Village Garden Club was well supported by its members. And after the judging of the numerous categories had  been done, the hall was open to all to have a look at the displays and see just who had won the prizes and trophies this year.

David Rose from The Guildford Dragon News was delighted to be invited to present the prizes at this year’s show. There were both cash prizes as well as elegant trophies.

The Onslow Village Garden Club meets on the third Wednesday of the month at 7.30pm at Onslow Village Hall, Guildford (except August and December).

It offers talks, shows, outings, social events, a monthly newsletter, local company discounts, raffles and quizzes. You don’t have to live in the village to be a member! For more details call 01483 577035.
