Shalford Road Closed Due To Flooding

Reports are coming in that the A281 Shalford Road outside Guildford has been closed this morning (11 Jun) due to flooding.

The persistent overnight rain has seen the closure of the road in both directions between Quarry Street and Pilgrims’ Way.

Flooding further on at Shalford has resulted in the suspension of First Great Western train services between Guildford and Redhill. A replacement bus service will be put in place.
